Sirsi announces successful certification program vendor
Huntsville, Alabama—TBD—Sirsi Corporation, the leader in new-name sales of library technology around the world*, announced today the newest software vendor to complete the Sirsi SIP2 Certification Program. Central Technology, Inc. has certified that the library self-checkout unit, i-circ®, version 2.0, will seamlessly integrate with the Sirsi patron database for both authentication and account information. The records will be used to authenticate a library patron before using the self-checkout kiosk to check out library materials.
